Revelation 14 Part 1 - Harvest

Pastor Wes Denham

Teaching through the entirety of Revelation 14, Pastor Wes Denham walks the congregation through one of the most sobering chapters in John’s apocalyptic vision—a scene unfolding in the midst of the seven-year Tribulation, after the Church has been removed from the earth. He opens with the 144,000 sealed Jewish witnesses from the twelve tribes standing with the Lamb on Mount Zion, marked on their foreheads as God’s own possession, and proclaiming His name to a world hurtling toward final judgment.

Pastor Wes draws out the meaning of the angel’s first command—”Fear God”—reminding believers that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the foundation of right understanding. He contrasts the cup of God’s wrath, poured out in full strength on those who receive the mark of the beast, with the cup Christ drank in Gethsemane so His people would never have to. The golden crown Jesus wears in verse fourteen, he notes, replaces the crown of thorns He once bore as our curse.

Pastor Wes ties the chapter to the present moment, pointing to digital payment systems, cultural compromise, and the rising hostility toward Christians and Jews as evidence that the prophetic landscape is sharpening. Drawing on the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and ten-year-old Tilly Smith—who recognized the warning signs and saved her family—he urges believers to see that an eternal tsunami is approaching. He shares his own decades-long burden for his unsaved family members and challenges the congregation to name loved ones for Harvest 2026.

Pastor Wes Denham teaches through Revelation 14, the Tribulation scene where the 144,000 sealed Jewish witnesses stand with the Lamb on Mount Zion and angels proclaim the everlasting gospel before final judgment. He contrasts the cup of God’s wrath with the cup Christ drank in Gethsemane, urging believers—through the story of a tsunami survivor—to warn loved ones before the eternal wave arrives.
